Summer Songs

Hej everybody :)

Just a short post - short in terms of words ;) Since I really enjoyed this warm, sunny day I figured that I share my favourite summer tracks here... I won't upload them (the law, yaddayaddayadda), but I will link to some youtube clips...and if you like the song, I guess you know where to get it (legally, of course...)
So, let's start with...

such a groovy song...I like it! *sing*

Martha Wainwright - You cheated me
Rufus' sister :) I like the song and it's perfect for relaxed, warm summer evenings.


Sam Sparro - Black and Gold
I posted this song yesterday..so here's a live version. He really has a good voice :) (and looks cute)


Sigur Rós - Gobbledigook
Contains nudity ;) Anyway, their new single...reminds me a bit of "Animal Collective" (see, for example, the shortbus soundtrack) but a good song anyway...


Hercules and Love Affair - You Belong
A very groovy club song for sweaty summer days :) With Antony Hegarty (Antony and the Johnsons) and Nomi on vocals :)


Scissor Sisters - Get it, Get it
A classic ;) from their first album and it always reminds me of the great summer in 2004.. I couldn't find a proper video of this song :( just this "Queer as Folk Fanvideo", sorry for that... Close your eyes if you don't like what you see
